Guerrilla -installation with oversized basketballs all over Europe for campaign launch
SNIPES is an official partner and licensee of the new “Space Jam: A New Legacy” film by Warner Bros. – and SNIPES announces this with a special action: from June 25th to 27th, the globally active sneaker and streetwear retailer positioned basketballs up to three meters in size at prominent locations in five European cities. The balls turned out as popular selfie spots:
- Berlin: Gedächtniskirche
- Cologne: Park Area Congress
- Paris: MK2 Bibliothèque
- Milan: City Life Center
- Barcelona: CC Maremagnum

We wanted to create something big and thereby generate maximum attention. By placing the giant basketballs in the environment of our target group, we create exactly that. It’s just our way of saying we’re partnering with Warner Bros. for the movie ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy.’”
The unusual campaign also kicks off further measures in the course of the collaboration, such as a large-scale influencer campaign, a joint collection and a live event.
