032c WORKSHOP x SNIPES BREAKING BARRIERS Streetwear retailer and Berlin brand launch Capsule
Cologne, 2nd of March 2022 – Streetwear retailer SNIPES and fashion brand 032c WORKSHOP will launch the joint “032c WORKSHOP x SNIPES BREAKING BARRIERS” collection on the 5th of March 2022. The 19-piece collection consisting of hoodies, shirts, track pants, and accessories such as socks, bags, and caps, represents the symbiosis of two unique brands that shape and influence the streetwear universe.
032c WORKSHOP was founded in 2015 by Maria and Joerg Koch and originates from the magazine
032c, which is published twice a year since the early 2000s. Following the principles of “Freedom, Research, and Creativity”, the magazine unites art, brands, and (sub-) culture and enjoys great popularity among influential rappers and creatives of the scene. The 032c WORKSHOP x SNIPES collection expands the universe of both brands and combines the best of both worlds: Rough street culture meets sophistication and expressive shapes as well as prints designed by graffiti artist Mode2, among others.
“This collab is something very special for us. We show that we can collaborate with a brand like 032c in our own way and still stay ‘raised from concrete’. We continue to evolve and each piece in the capsule shows who we are, but also who 032c is. ‘Breaking barriers’ in this case means that we blur the supposed boundaries between two communities and encourage them to overcome them,” Matthias Schübbe, Head of Marketing SNIPES.
“It is quite an unexpected collaboration between SNIPES and 032c. We think SNIPES’ democratic approach is very exciting and are happy to see 032c introduced to the SNIPES community. It was also important to me that the individual pieces are unisex and can be freely combined”, Maria Koch, Creative Director 032c.
The launch is supported by a campaign video, which will be released on YouTube on the 4th of March, and a social media and influencer campaign. At a pre-launch event on the 3rd of March in Berlin, the collection will be presented to creatives from the scene, artists like UFO361, ASAP Nast, and creators.
The guests will create content at the event and share it live with their community.
The limited collection will be available from the 5th of March 2022 in selected SNIPES flagship stores in Cologne, Berlin, Vienna, Zurich, Amsterdam, Milan, Paris, and New York, and online at snipes.com/032c.
